Surrender your Neapolitan

We at Mastino Rescue are aware that situations occur in peoples' lives that may make it necessary to find a new home for a Neapolitan Mastiff. We cannot accept every Neo that we are contacted about. We will do our best to evaluate the dog, and our available resources, and assess if we can accept an owner surrendered dog. We will work with owners to find the best solutions possible. When we are unable to accept your dog as an owner surrendered pet, we will sometimes be able to suggest alternative rescues that may be able to assist you.

Please acknowledge that we are a 100% volunteer-run rescue. It may take a few days for us to reply to your request to surrender your dog into the program. In addition, it is difficult for us to accept your dog and have them removed from your home immediately. Accepting a new dog into the program often means securing a foster or foster-to-adopt home, coordinating a long distance transport, ensuring veterinary care/needs on arrival, etc., which can be a time consuming process.
